Neda Agha-Soltan was shot by the Basij at 7:05pm local time in Tehran. She bled to death in the street. She was observing a pro-democracy rally when she was gunned down from a neighboring rooftop. She was 26.
The Iranian government prevented her family from holding a wake or public memorial service. State-controlled media mentioned nothing of her death.
Against government orders, posters of Neda have appeared in Tehran.
This video was filmed June 20th.
