This guy is a friend of David Lynch’s son and has been shuffling around shooting a doc about Lynch. After 2 years of half working for/half filming Lynch the doc is making the festival rounds. I have no problems with getting in any way you can, or with a film being celebrated based on its subject rather than its treatment….
…but you knew we wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have a beef.
Exhibit A. Really? You conduct a text interview IN ALL CAPS THE WHOLE TIME AS IF YOU ARE A 13 YEAR OLD IN A H4X0RZ FLAME WAR. Then, to add insult to injury…you adopt this mysterious persona of ‘the artist that must not be named.’
Well infy has had enough, Jason. Despite your indiscretions, I’m still looking forward to seeing the finished piece. 2 years worth of footage should provide an interesting narrative into the mind of a living master of cinema.
