Los Feliz: FEE-liz *or* Fe-LEEZ
barely completing spanish 3 gave me the confidence to pronounce it Fe-LEEZ as in Feliz Navidad. my 2nd week in the southland I was corrected by a local: Los FEE-liz. at this point i drop the iz and the EEZ intermittently.
angelenos sound off! los FEE-liz or los fe-LEEZ?
