Where’s the best place to get tacos in LA?

THESE TUMBLRS SAY THE WRONG THINGS (regarding tacos)

azizisbored:
Best Fish Taco on Hillhurst
Yuca’s on Hillhurst
Taco Zone Taco Truck

Also, has anyone tried this Korean taco truck* phenomenon?? I gotta get on it as soon as the tour is over. Watch this video:

erockappel:

I must say though, the best taco in LA is from the TACO ZONE taco truck on Alvarado and Montana in Echo Park (right on the edge of the Ralph’s parking lot).  So fucking good!

phazerblast:

Please . Taco Trucks. My best experiences are at Fountain / Western and two blocks east of the echo to your right on the side street. If you want not authentic but kick ass fish taco - Ensenadas Best Fish Taco on Hillhurst. Yelp that shit. Yuca’s is way overrated. And seriously FIRST TACO? God help you.

realrealsoft:

i’ll be in LA in less than a week. and you better believe i’m eating my first taco. YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH! seriously, though, i gotta have one before i die,

6od:

Tacos Delta on Sunset, East of Sanborn.

Yuca’s on Hillhurst, just below Ambrose Ave.

REGARDING TACOS:

The best truck is El Matador. Hands down. No question. El Matador. Zone is ok if you don’t want to drive to El Matador, and Ariza is closed (in the neighborhood and better food!). I seriously can’t say it enough: EL MATADOR: Western/Lexington

If you can’t handle a truck, any King Taco in Los Angeles will do. They are the gold standard in tacos.

It might be best to avoid these spots, once you taste the truth, you’ll never want to go anywhere else.
